The 2024 Ipsos Equalities Index reort highlights a strong belief in the UK that the government should be primarily responsible for tackling inequality (66%). However, interesting generational and gender differences emerge. Gen Z men are less likely to support this view (63%) compared to Gen Z women (74%) and Baby Boomer men (75%). This raises questions about how different demographics perceive the role of government in creating a fairer society. #Equality #EqualitiesIndex #GenZ #Boomers #DiversityAndInclusion

Ipsos Equalities Index 2024. A new global survey by Ipsos reveals a growing sense of disillusionment, particularly among Gen Z and Millennials, regarding meritocracy. In the UK, only 28% of Gen Z believe that success is determined by hard work, compared to 46% of Boomers. This trend reflects a global shift, with younger generations increasingly skeptical of the traditional narrative of hard work leading to success. Is it time to rethink our approach to equality and opportunity? #EqualitiesIndex #GenZ #Millennials #Equality #InclusionAndDiversity

#Health is a fundamental #humanright for everyone. Advocating for this principle is not only a Moral case but also a prudent approach from as a Business case. Healthier populations result in lower public healthcare costs, reduced financial losses for the private sector, and a more productive society. This enhances the overall wellbeing of everyone and fosters a stronger, more resilient economy as it brings overall value. #MoralRightThingToDo #BusinessSmartThingToDo

Access to quality #Healthcare to all #Human race is a must each country / government should address as priority. Irrespective of gender, race, color, ethnicity and most importantly economic-standards it has to be equal. While the healthcare "business" is becoming highly commercial, definitely every policy should govern and address the "affordability" by all standards of people. Reliable, consistent, and measurable data are paramount for driving social change. #dailyselfreflections #14 Yesterday , I had the opportunity to discuss #Entrepreneurship, #Data, and #Disability at the #ChristopherReeveFoundation alongside representatives from the U.S. Census Bureau There’s a big debate happening now on how Disability should be measured. Various reputable sources are using different methodologies, leading to different reporting figures and fragmenting the data. This, in turn, harms the effectiveness of our advocacy efforts as a community. Here is more information on the issue: https://lnkd.in/ezgPUjNr I encourage advocates to engage with the Census Bureau and request to be included in the task force responsible for evaluating this issue. Future access to funding, opportunities, and resources literally depend on it. Thanks Timothy Balz for the photo! According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, 21 percent of people with a disability in the U.S. were employed in 2022, up from about 19 percent in 2021. While this is the highest number in history, we still have a long, long way to go. Include persons with disability in your company's strategic plan. https://ow.ly/yF5h50PT30e https://ow.ly/LfAt50PT30h #DisabilityEmployment #InclusionMatters #DiversityandInclusion
