We know many of our neighbors in northwest Iowa have a long, hard road to recovery ahead following last weekend’s record flooding. That’s why Perdue Farms is donating $50,000 to the American Red Cross relief efforts and delivering a truckload of chicken products — the equivalent of 33,000 meals — to the Food Bank of Siouxland, Inc. in Sioux City, who will ensure the resources will help our impacted associates and families, and our Iowa neighbors, in their recovery. This response is part of the company’s “Delivering Hope To Our Neighbors® disaster relief outreach focused on improving quality of life and building strong communities.
