5 things to know before you start your fitness journey… Consistency trumps intensity. Consistency with regular physical activity is going to have a greater impact to your long-term health, and the goals you’re trying to achieve than the go big or go home mentality. More is not always better…more cardio, more weights, more classes, ultimately doing too much volume and too much high intensity work will backfire on you. Some exercises will feel awkward - that’s okay and totally normal. If you need a form check or are unsure if you’re doing it right just ask for help. Rest is part of the process - so make sure to take days off, prioritise sleep and fuel your body. Rest allows growth to happen. Movement should be enjoyable - enjoy the process.
