Sometimes, using AI to level up your marketing career has very little to do with building things for "marketing" it can be stuff like a Custom GPT that Alisa Scharf built to tell stories to her 3 year old son, she found that there was an issue and asked the team for help, this is also 100% learning about AI. As it enables her and others to: 1) tell more unique stories to our kids and 2) learn about prompts, answers, custom GPT limitations, etc. Don't assume that "learning about AI" has to be marketing specific. I guess I haven't really thought about losing my job to AI. I kinda treat it like my SEO and Google algo updates - just keep up to date, make good stuff that's useful and try new things. Thanks for getting me thinking about it. A friend said she's been seeing the SEO positions going down in salary, and another said that employers are just expecting more of employees. Sounds like things are beginning to change. AI/ChatGPT are so incredible, but seriously, we're gonna see some growing pains.
