Reflecting on the first and last thoughts of our day indeed holds profound significance in shaping our mindset and influencing the course of our actions. It is during these moments of transition between wakefulness and slumber that our subconscious mind is particularly receptive to impressions. Starting the day with positive and purposeful thoughts sets the tone for the hours ahead, infusing our actions with motivation and determination. Whether it's expressing gratitude for the blessings in our lives or setting intentions for growth and productivity, cultivating a mindset of optimism and gratitude at the dawn of each day can have a transformative effect on our overall well-being. Similarly, ending the day on a reflective and tranquil note allows us to unwind from the day's hustle and bustle, fostering a sense of inner peace and contentment. By taking a moment to review our experiences, acknowledge our achievements, and contemplate areas for improvement, we pave the way for personal growth and self-awareness. Indeed, the difference between the first and last thoughts of our day can be profound. By consciously channeling our thoughts towards positivity, gratitude, and mindfulness, we empower ourselves to navigate life's challenges with resilience and grace. As we embrace this practice, may we discover the boundless potential that lies within the power of our thoughts to shape our reality.

I often cite these stats about the number of thoughts we have each day, and how most are negative and repetitive. #Meditation, #mindfulness practices, #gratitude, affirmations, and #breathwork are all helpful practices. Being intentional first thing in the morning is also helpful in setting yourself up for success.

Sometimes a "loss" is the beginning of something greater. I worked a shift at the job where I was most comfortable. I was making a decent living, making enough to put my son through karate ($550 per month) take him out at least once a week. Take a vacation once in a while, invest at least $1,000 a month, buy a third vehicle, pay the bills, and still save up over $15,000 in less than 8 months, (including investments with my returns from just that period and savings). I thought it was everything I needed. I was devastated when I lost it. Today people were asking if I'm back to stay. I said, it's good to see some familiar faces, and a pleasure to work besides friends again, but definitely not. Financially, some months can be bad, some months can be twice as good, but now that I've tasted this lifestyle, I can never go back to the average job. I cherish all the extra time I have with my son, as a single father, even during the bad months. I was forced to figure something out. I thought about what I have been doing for years, my skills, and what I had been doing on the side for months for extra cash. I turned my side hustle into a whole business: Dor-2-Dor Kitchen Equipment & Cleaning. Also, my meal prep services are being requested by multiple families and individuals. And I freelance as a chef 4-5 days a month, at different restaurants, resorts, and facilities, mostly for networking purposes for , Dor-2-Dor Kitchen Equipment & Cleaning. I can finally work from home, and when I do have to go out, my little man can come with. I thank my old employers for having me, and I thank them for letting me go. Without that push, I would never know this life that I have today. It's not easy, it's not as secure, but it's a much better lifestyle for me. I enjoy having the freedom to do as I wish whenever I wish. I enjoy being responsible for my own success. I enjoy being able to invest my time into my personal growth. I enjoy being able to have the proper time to research what I must. I enjoy being able to spend much more time with loved ones. I enjoy being able to teach my son about financial freedom. I enjoy playing with my son. I enjoy everything about it, and if it wasn't for my last employer, I would have never got here. I thank them deeply from the bottom of my heart.
