Different Methods Of Training For Employees With Benefits Important Reading!!! Technology-based learning Computer-based training (CBT) or e-learning is another term for it. The major advantage of technology-based learning is its scalability and flexibility. Any number of individuals can participate at the same time and progress at their own pace in this training method. It also removes the requirement of an in-person facilitator. Coaching or mentoring Implementing a mentorship program within the organization, along with other training methods, provides opportunities for employee growth and develops relationships that help new employees feel welcomed and supported. Mentorship is invaluable, but it also has its challenges. You may ask the company's most skilled employees to take time off work to train and develop newer employees. Though it is eventually beneficial, it often costs more than most other forms of training. Roleplaying Roleplaying usually involves a trainee and trainer, where each can act out different potential work scenarios. This method is most effective in industries that require client interaction or involve customer service, as it allows employees to practise handling difficult situations. Case studies When it comes to enhancing analytical and problem-solving skills, case studies may be the most effective training method. In this method, trainees get scenarios, either real or imaginary, that depict common work situations. Either independently or in a group, the employees then get instruction to analyse the case and come up with the best possible solutions and scenarios. @Indeed

The Role of HR Leaders in Promoting Employee Wellbeing in the Workplace What is Employee Wellbeing in the Workplace? Employers generally used to emphasize health benefits when discussing employee wellbeing in the workplace. Today, we understand that employee well-being entails more than just the absence of illness among employees. Employee wellbeing in the workplace is concerned with improving the health of all employees. With the recent COVID-19 outbreak, many employers recognized the impact employee wellbeing has on performance, and thus on business results. According to a CIPD 2020 survey report on Health and Wellbeing in the Workplace, there has been a 37% increase in stress-related absence at work (absenteeism) since last year, and 89 per cent of employees have worked while feeling ill (presenteeism). Benefits of Employee Wellbeing in the Workplace 1. Increased Employee Participation and Productivity – The increased participation that team members will demonstrate is a win-win situation for everyone. Employees who are contented are 12 per cent more likely to be productive. 2. A better reputation - People are more interested in working for companies that prioritise the well-being of their employees. 70% of global leaders invest in well-being programmes because they have a positive impact on their workplace culture. 3. Reduced absenteeism - Companies began to recognize that preventing issues related to poor employee wellbeing in the workplace such as burnout, stress, or illness was more profitable than reacting to all of these issues after they occurred. 4. Employee morale has improved - Employees feel more competent and valued when their physical, mental, and financial needs are met on all levels. During the COVID-19 crisis, we have encountered how critical it is to maintain employee morale. Well-being has now risen to the top of the priority list. Here are FIVE strategies that HR leaders need to focus on for Employee Wellbeing: 1. Create a communication culture - Clear and frequent communication should be at the forefront of any organization to keep everyone connected. This is especially important during a crisis. Companies must persuade employees that they care about their well-being. Human resources act as a liaison between management and employees. 2. Pleasant Working Conditions - Healthy and pleasant working conditions contribute to professional well-being. 3. Provide healthcare services - Giving your employees access to healthcare is an excellent way to boost workplace morale. 4. Begin an employee volunteer programme - This wellness programme is an investment in employees as well as the community. 5. Create mental health resources for your employees - Assisting teams in taking care of their mental health. ConclusionIn: the importance of employee wellbeing in the workplace should never be underestimated by HR leaders because it has a direct impact on the workforce's productivity. EdApp

Its Heart breaking, how the once responsible to build a child's life guide them through the careers are the one's responsible for this tragic END....
TW: Suicide “Aditya was just 19; our only child. He was the kindest soul we knew. He was great in studies; his teachers always saved his notes. On some days, he wanted to become an athlete & on some, a pilot. But then, he opted for Computer Science in PES University. He was confused if he should get a job or move to the US for Masters. I used to say, ‘Do what your heart says, I’ll always be there.’ Last month, he appeared for his 2nd semester. He was excited for his vacation after; we’d just bought a new TV. He’d made a watchlist of movies. Everyday before his exam, he’d read the Gita & light a diya. But on 17th July, it all changed. He left the house for his exam. I went to the office & my wife got busy with chores. Around 11:45, she got a call from Aditya saying, ‘Mom, I’d forgotten to put my phone in the bag during the exam. I swear I wasn't copying.' He said they yelled at him that it’s better to die than to copy. He asked her to come as the teachers had summoned her. She was made to wait for an hour. His phone was off. Someone mocked her saying, ‘You’re the malpractice mom? Your malpractice son was cheating.’ She was then shooed off saying, ‘He must be out with his friends!’ After pleading a lot, she was told, ‘A kid has jumped off from the 8th floor, identify him!’ She called me, ‘Aditya is dead.’ An hour later, when I saw Aditya, I broke down. We filed an FIR. We kept thinking of that time when in school, we used to hear news about kids committing suicide. So we'd often talk to Aditya. He said, ‘Are you mad? I'll never kill myself!’ We didn't know that years later, we’d be sitting in the police station, for him. We saw the CCTV footage. He was taken into a room that had no CCTV by 4 staff members. We've no idea what happened there. Even after 40 days, no one is arrested. Channels were running headlines, ‘Boy caught copying, jumped off the building.’ It wasn't true; we had to put out our side of the story. Our state government has appointed a committee to investigate. We need more policies across schools & colleges. What happened wasn’t new, but Aditya needs to be the last 1 to have suffered. And to ensure that, we’ll fight till our last breath."
