Meta's Twitter replacement is now up to 175 million users, which is a significant feat after just one year of existence. But it still has a way to go to rival X. Meta has shared insight into Threads' growth here: https://lnkd.in/eHt73gsc Also, some research into how people are using the app: https://lnkd.in/gwft6EJs
I don't feel as though there is any comparison to X. I was hoping it would have been, but it seems to be a fairly useless social media platform for numerous industries.
At least for me, it's been impossible to understand if the platform is working for what I'd like to use it for. I haven't seen any analytics.
Can we finally take off the birthday hat tho 😅
But still isn't productive in industry yet
Amazing!

1wI noticed that Meta's been pushing it heavily with Instagram, appearing in the feed and encouraging people to sign up that way. It certainly lowers the barrier of entry, but I think the gold standard is still Twitter/X.
