On #WorldRefugeeDay, I am honored to join the International Rescue Committee (IRC) and David Miliband in calling for bold, innovative solutions to support the 120 million displaced people worldwide. Each of these individuals has a unique story, and it's our responsibility to help create a future where they can thrive. Together, we can help create long-term solutions to some of the most complex challenges of our time.
This World Refugee Day, 120 million people have been forcibly displaced worldwide - the number of refugees has more than doubled in just the last 10 years. More than ever, the world needs new and groundbreaking solutions to the most complex challenges of our time. The International Rescue Committee cannot do this work alone. That's why for World Refugee Day, I'm proud to join CEOs from the International Rescue Committee partners Damien Huang of Cotopaxi, Evan G Greenberg of Chubb, Stéphane Bancel of Moderna, Anthony Capuano of Marriott International, Vas Narasimhan of Novartis, Albert Bourla of Pfizer, Dara Khosrowshahi of Uber, Tom Eggemeier of Zendesk - in calling to action other business leaders to invest in continued innovation and solutions in response to global humanitarian needs. Today and every day, the private sector can help catalyze lasting change and transform the lives of people affected by conflict and disaster as they rebuild their futures. Read our full open letter to find out how companies can take action and empower refugees.
Thank you for your tremendous support!
