TCHO is proud to source cacao from organic certified small holder farms - exemplary stewards of the Earth, today and everyday. Through direct relationships with cacao suppliers and in-depth sensory analysis, we ensure the highest quality to make the best chocolate, while supporting sustainability efforts. We prioritize sourcing 100% USDA-certified organic cacao. Our cacao suppliers around the world are dedicated to practices that improve and preserve our environment. They’ve implemented regenerative agriculture practices, promoting biodiversity and soil health while reducing erosion and improving water quality. Through partnerships with programs like the PUR Project - every dollar you spend on TCHO helps efforts to reforest degraded landscapes and enhance resilience to climate change. Additionally, we roast our cacao at origin, reducing transportation emissions by over 20% compared to competitors. Our commitment extends beyond the cacao itself, most of our packaging, is now environmentally friendly, and there’s more improvements in the works. As a Certified @bcorpuscan , sustainability is ingrained in every aspect of our operations, from sourcing to how we make chocolate at our factory in Berkeley, CA. This means constantly striving to be better. Better stewards of our planet, better users of its resources, and providing a better quality of life. #earthdayeveryday #tchosource #tchochocolate #organic #bcorp #madeinberkeley #chocolatefairandsquare

Join us in welcoming, Aidan Keefe to a sweet journey ahead as our new Director of Finance! 🍫 With extensive experience in finance and analytics from Silicon Valley, Aidan brings invaluable expertise to our team. Fun fact: Aidan was born and raised in Berkeley but spent many years in Silicon Valley working in finance and analytics, however, it never felt quite like home to him. Aidan comes from a family where dessert was king—his great-grandmother would plan meals around the dessert, and his dad believed no dessert was better than fine chocolate. After his father's passing in 2022, Aidan finds comfort in being back in Berkeley, living in his childhood home, and working on a team dedicated to making the best chocolate at TCHO. Aidan's favorite chocolate at the moment is Born Fruity, our single-origin dark chocolate sourced from Peru. 🍫 Welcome to the TCHO family, Aidan!
