Pride Month is a time to recognize and celebrate the diverse identities and contributions of LGBTQIA+ individuals. It’s also an opportunity to demonstrate allyship through action and we’re thrilled to celebrate Pride Month at TSG. Last week, our PRIDE Employee Resource Group hosted a fantastic Boom Box Trivia: Pride Edition event. This fun team-building activity featured music trivia with albums, songs and music videos highlighting popular music from LGBTQIA+ artists throughout history, making it a memorable and educational experience for all. Even though we’re a fully remote company, we remain committed to creating spaces that build connections amongst our employees, educate each other, and foster an inclusive workplace for all. Here’s to celebrating diversity, inclusivity, and the contributions of the LGBTQIA+ community! ️ #PrideMonth2024 #LGBTQIA #Inclusion #TSG #BoomBox #Trivia #TeamBuilding

🌈 Happy Pride Month! 🌈 As we celebrate the vibrancy, resilience, and contributions of the LGBTQIA+ community, it's crucial to acknowledge that many organizations still struggle to support their LGBTQIA+ employees genuinely. While rainbow logos and pride-themed merchandise are plentiful this time of year, the real measure of support is found in everyday actions and policies. Here are some questions every leader should ask themselves: • Is our workplace truly inclusive, or do we just check the boxes? • Do our policies protect and uplift LGBTQIA+ employees, or do they simply avoid discrimination? • Are we fostering an environment where everyone feels safe to be their authentic selves? It's not enough to tolerate diversity; we must actively cultivate a culture of inclusion and equity. This means not only celebrating during Pride Month but also challenging homophobia, biphobia, and transphobia every day of the year. So, let's do better, people. #PrideMonth #LGBTQIA #Inclusion #Diversity #DoBetterPeople

With Pride Month right around the corner, we’ll soon see the rainbowfication of various corporates. While it’s always encouraging to see businesses show support, let’s hope this year it goes beyond the surface. True support means fostering an inclusive culture that champions equal opportunities and creates a genuinely welcoming environment for everyone (and not just turning your app logo/LinkedIn display picture rainbow to pride colours). Representation and visibility are important, but they must be backed by real, tangible actions that support the LGBTQIA+ community year-round. From hiring practices to workplace policies, and from employee resource groups to leadership training, every layer of an organization can and should reflect a commitment to diversity and inclusion. As allies, we are all responsible for bringing in the small contribution to make our work places #GenderInclusive Here’s to celebrating Pride Month with authenticity and dedication to lasting change. 🌈 #PrideMonth #Inclusion #Diversity #CorporateResponsibility #LGBTQIA #Equality #WelcomingWorkplaces

Yesterday, myself and Jessica Hayes had the opportunity to visit our Triton Street office and engage in a meaningful conversation about all things Pride! 🌈 A big thank you again to Bianca Stringuini for the invitation! It was great to discuss: ✔️ Why Pride Networks are important ✔️ What we are doing from a UK&I and Regional level ✔️ What my role as our London Central Lead looks like and how we are implementing a 3-Year Regional Pride Network Strategy 🌈 Pride Networks are more than just a symbol of inclusivity; they are the cornerstone of any organisation’s commitment to celebrating diversity. These networks provide a safe space for individuals to be their true authentic selves, fostering an environment where every voice is heard and valued. 🌈 From a Hays UK&I and Regional perspective, we are taking strides to ensure our actions speak as loudly as our words. As our London Central Regional Lead, I am proud to be at the forefront of this, guiding our regional strategy forward. 🌈 Our strategy is focused around education, support, and advocacy, aiming to create a ripple effect of positive change not just across our region, but our communities as well. We are working to implement initiatives that resonate on a local level, ensuring our efforts are as impactful as they are heartfelt. 🌈 It's important to remember, Pride is not just a month-long celebration; it’s a year-round commitment to uplift and recognize the LGBTQIA+ community. It’s about carrying the spirit of Pride in everything we do, every day, because the journey towards equality isn't restricted to the month of June. Here’s to celebrating Pride every day and making every space one where love and identity are celebrated in all their forms. #Pride #Inclusivity #DiversityAndInclusion #Pride365 #lgbt #lgbtqia+ #pridemonth

As Pride Month unfolds, we see an array of brands changing their logos to vibrant rainbow colors, showcasing their support for the LGBTQIA+ community. While these visual gestures are appreciated, true allyship demands a deeper commitment. It’s time for companies to think beyond the surface and focus on embedding lasting change within their organizational culture. True allyship begins with cultivating an inclusive environment where everyone feels valued and respected. It's essential to move from performative gestures to meaningful actions. This means implementing policies and practices that foster diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) throughout the organization. Allyship must be a year-round commitment, not just during Pride Month. Consistent engagement ensures that support for the LGBTQIA+ community is ingrained in the company’s ethos. By embedding these values into our workplace culture, we do more than create an inclusive environment—we set a precedent for others. Our actions can inspire other organisations and individuals to join us in the journey towards true equality and acceptance. Pride Month is a time to celebrate the progress we've made, but it's also a reminder of the work still to be done. Let's use this month as a catalyst for ongoing change, ensuring that our support for the LGBTQIA+ community is more than just a momentary gesture, but a sustained effort towards true equality. #PrideMonth🌈 #LGBTQIA #Allyship #Inclusion #Diversity

Senior Consultant & Global Co-Chair of the LGBTQIA+ Perspectives Group @ TRINITY l Co-Founder @ Emerging Leaders In Life Sciences l Nova SBE Munich Alumni Board Member & CEMS MIM Alumni
🌈 A while back, I did a post about my role as Global Co-chair of the LGBTQIA+ Perspectives Group at Trinity and have received a few messages asking more information about our mission / initiatives, so I thought about sharing more about it 🌈 1 - What is the LGBTQIA+ Perspectives group? At Trinity Life Sciences, there are several employee resource groups that drive initiatives to foster diversity and inclusion in our organization, including Gender, Culture, and LGBTQIA+ Perspectives Groups. Each group has executive sponsors that advocate for our initiatives and respective visibility in our organization, and provide guidance about our events. The LGBTQIA+ group counts with two amazing sponsors: Krista Perry, and Monica Martin de Bustamante. In addition we have two co-chairs, Sarah Schneider and myself. Finally, the group has 20+ employees from all offices worldwide that wish to participate in our initiatives. 2 - Which initiatives do we organize? We organize three types of events: #1 Educational events: we invite guest speakers that share insights / experience / stories related to LGBTQIA+ topics. For example, this year we organized a trans panel event where we invited two doctors, Isabel (Izzy) Lowell, MD, MBA, and Laura Erickson-Schroth who shared the science beyond transitioning. #2 Social events: we promote happy hours, particularly during pride month, to celebrate our community. The picture below was taken in my visit to the London office last year during pride with my fellow colleagues including Phoebe Huzar, Charlotte Carver, Sonia Acosta Luis, Laura Halsey, Supriya Kumar, Salomé Monreal Louly, and many more! #3 Core LGBTQIA+ Discussions: we aim to create a safe space for all employees including allies to feel comfortable to discuss concerns, questions, etc. Therefore, we organize regular meetings to discuss news, or any LGBTQIA+ related topic. These initiatives are only possible with Trinity leadership support that actively incentivizes our events (including giving us designated budget!) Let me know in the comments below if your organization organizes any other initiatives - I do see the value of sharing so that we can all replicate it! The more initiatives all organizations conduct the better 💪🏼 #diversityandinclusion #diversity #inclusionmatters #lgbtq #lgbtqcommunity
