“Camouflage… is a matter of life and death – of victory or defeat” – Sir Roland Penrose, The Home Guard Manual of Camouflage, 1940. This is why we call PenCott® – Mission Critical Camouflage™. But what is so good about the PenCott family of patterns? 1. They provide better concealment at all typical engagement distances. 2. They particularly provide better concealment at much closer distances. 3. They provide better concealment in different environments. 4. Their complex, organic-looking shapes confuse visual processing. How do they do this? 1. They feature a 3-in-1 / 360° pattern geometry with arge, medium and small fractal shapes which makes the patterns effective at close, mid, and long range – and, because of non-linear orientation, the patterns are fully effective whether the wearer is standing, kneeling or prone. 2. They use a combination of Depth + Blending + Disruption features - combining multi-sized shapes, high-difference boundary layers and a hypoacuitively dithered micro-pattern that creates the illusion of depth, whilst also disrupting the shape of the wearer and blending into the environment. 3. Unlike standard pixelated digital patterns, PenCott patterns feature a complex organic-looking texture geometry combined with environmentally matched colors to deliver superior concealment across a wide range of terrain. See what we mean?

"Are you looking to take your video production to the next level? Understanding log footage, bits, and LUTs can help you achieve a more professional look. Log footage is a flat image profile that retains more color information than other footage types, giving you more flexibility when color grading. Bits refer to the amount of data used to represent each color in your footage, with higher bit depths allowing for more color accuracy. And LUTs, or Look Up Tables, are mathematical maps that guide your footage from raw to its final look. They can be used to apply a predetermined look, increase the speed of color grading, or develop your unique style. Each catalog publisher sees colors it’s own way. Color is subjective and is prone to lot of interpretation. Can you differentiate carmin from red, dark blue from Prussian blue ? In order to help collectors with shades, colour guides were established. Very useful for long runner series. Does your stamp belong to the rare shade or the easy-to-find one ?

Picking colors and images for your print piece can sometimes be a challenge. Understanding color theory is key. Red commands attention and evokes emotions like urgency, passion, and anger. Yellow symbolizes happiness and deceit, often used to catch the eye. Green represents money, nature, and healing. Blue suggests responsibility, confidence, and calmness. Orange exudes warmth, fun, and affordability. White is associated with innocence and purity, while black signifies power and elegance. Brown brings warmth and richness to designs. Understanding color psychology is crucial for effective print design. #ColorTheory #PrintDesign🎨
