It has come a long way in terms of its targeting capabilities and its new creator marketplace gives brands direct access to influencers that can make content for them. This can help brands be reactive and adapt quickly to the 2024 market. 🚀 Influencer marketing is really re-shaping the traditional consumer purchase path. People are much more reactive to what they see now and this means that the path could potentially become shorter, which is important for brands to keep in mind. 🚀 Going forward, brands and advertisers should focus on a diverse, multi-channel approach to social media. Stop telling influencers and creators what to post on their social media! Unless you want to guarantee that no one sticks around to watch. As an influencer myself with a combined following of 55k on IG and TikTok, and someone who works closely with influencers on contracts and brand deals, I strongly believe that more brands need to take a different approach. However, I still get emails on the daily with a full script already written that doesn't make sense with my content or audience in mind. This tactic takes all the creativity away from the content creation process and will never drive the ROI you're hoping for. Three brands I see crushing the influencer marketing space with partnerships and allowing ads to feel authentic and organic are KAYAK, Sol de Janeiro, and HEYDUDE.
