CEO David Risher reflects on his first year at Lyft

My first year as Lyft’s CEO has been a hell of a ride and I’ve loved every minute of it. But my job isn’t to produce activity; it’s to produce results. I hope this letter helps you understand our results, how we achieved them, and what they mean for you and for Lyft.

Lyft’s Economic Impact Report

Our 2024 Economic Impact Report is here! We surveyed thousands of drivers and riders to learn more about what they value, how they travel, and why they use the Lyft platform. Dive into the fascinating insights here.

Lyft announces 2024 voting access program & joins new coalition with Levi Strauss & Co. and Showtime/MTV

Over the years, Lyft has helped more than 3 million people exercise their right to vote — now our 2024 pledge is to grow our program’s ride volume by 25% in order to get more people to the polls.

This year, we’re also putting more attention toward closing the voting gap for community college students. We are partnering with Levi Strauss & Co. and Showtime / MTV in a new coalition to increase student voter registration and turnout, our shared goal is to support 500,000 community college students by 2028.

im disabled almost 500 rides as lyft passenger since november 2019 and my rating is and was 5.0 plus i had $71.47 in lyftcash where i add $100 every month left and lyft made a final decision to hold my account and told me it will not be reopened, but refuse to tell me why or what i suppose to of done, this is wrong and my only means of transportation, they have treated me a top passenger very badly and no one seems to care or explain why common decency. i do personal rides and my insurance sends me on rides to doctors and places now they ended all that, i wish David Risher would see why and fix this since he is ceo, tell me what i done wrong and im not aware of anything and my years of perfect ratings should prove it., i loved lyft but now im sad they right out of the blue closed my account and kept my $71.47 that my insurance paid on a mastercard debit card, so not only cheating me cheating the insurance company. if this ceo cares i hope he will help me fix my account and make things right. thank you 😭 contact me

I am Writing this letter to Lyft support highest team , because my account was deactivated The reason that one of my costumers reported that I was speeding , Lyft support group said that I got the same notice second Time , but it is not true because I can’t find any reason , and this is no fair decision , I got 5 months ago the excellent car Infiniti QX60 , but I am driving LYFT , XL not black , trying to give Lyft costumers excellent service always keeping my car clean , no matter that another drivers driving with broker cars , I am giving best service to Lyft costumers , and only 1 report I think not enough to take and close driver account , I think That this is not fair decision , please double check it because as I mentioned, This job is important to me Only for driving Lyft I am paying 1500$ for my car and insurance and I have children under my care , please double check the Issue , because as I mentioned previously there was some riders that giving drivers 1 star or something that and there wasn’t any problem !

Good evening I am Lyft driver , I made 1707 trips my rating is 5.0 , One of my costumers , whom I picked up from LAX and before me his request was cancelled 10 times , after my trip was reported that I was driving fast , But I wasn’t driving fast , and after this report my account was on hold , and after checking the case they took and deactivated my account and they said that they are higher team of Lyft they even can’t talk in English and can’t imagine the situation in LAX and the traffic inside the LAX

Lyft is dragging mines, there isn't much hope for a second or third. Lyft has multiple class action suits and discrimination cases, and they can't afford justice on every front. Even as these cases build and the ship sinks, lyft continues to pay members of their DEI team as much as 280k each, dispite them being the cause of their impending expenses. #Racyst #Sexyst #BoycottLyft
