Chicago Sky experienced a tough 84-71 loss to the Seattle Storm on Sunday, but the spotlight remained on Angel Reese as she broke Candace Parker's record for the most consecutive double-doubles in WNBA history.

Post-game, Reese, Marina Mabrey, and Sky coach Theresa Weatherspoon attended a press conference that quickly became memorable for an unusual reason.

The funny incident

During a video conference call, a reporter inadvertently left his microphone unmuted, leading to a moment of confusion.

The video, which circulated on social media, shows the reporter starting to ask Reese a question before abruptly pausing to talk to someone else in the background.

Reese, puzzled by the sudden distraction, asked the reporter to repeat his question. Instead of refocusing, the reporter continued his off-topic conversation, which appeared to delve into personal matters.

Reese and Mabrey couldn't hide their amusement, smiling and smirking at the mishap. In contrast, Weatherspoon looked visibly embarrassed.

An assistant in the room tried to alert the reporter to his mistake, but he remained unaware until he returned to the call, acting as though nothing unusual had occurred.
