Ryan Garcia introduces Malu Trevejo as his new girlfriend and his mother asks him to break up

Ryan Garcia has announced that he 'finally' has a girlfriend, posting pictures with a mysterious woman on his social media accounts. The famous boxer is currently serving a year-long suspension from the New York State Athletic Commission after testing positive for the performance-enhancing drug ostarine following his upset victory over Devin Haney on April 20 at the Barclays Center.

While his boxing career is temporarily halted, Garcia's dating life seems to be flourishing. He posted enthusiastically, "I finally got a girlfriend that's dope," and followed up with photos of himself and his new partner.

The images included a selfie with a curly-haired brunette and another of the two sharing a kiss. Garcia expressed his happiness in the caption, noting his girlfriend's distinctive neck tattoos and tongue piercings, and also appeared to have a hickey on his neck.

On Instagram, Garcia posted a caption that suggests that this isn't going to be a long-term relationship.

"Ladies and Gentlemen man my Girlfriend @malutrevejo. I give it 5 weeks Then we break up no cap."

Yet even though Ryan Garcia himself appears to have found happiness, not everybody feels the same. His own mother left a very clear message regarding what she thinks of the situation with a comment she posted on Instagram on the photo of the pair.

"Please break up," was the response from his mother to the photo of the new 'couple' on Instagram.

Eventful personal life

Garcia's love life has been quite eventful since he filed for divorce from his ex-wife, Andre Celina, in January, a move that came shortly after celebrating the birth of their second child, Henry.

By late February, Garcia was romantically linked with Australian OnlyFans model Mikaela Testa. However, the relationship was short-lived, and by March, Garcia announced he was searching for a new girlfriend, despite declaring his love for Testa.

Garcia's public flirtations included going viral for an interaction with Bobbi Althoff on her podcast, as well as attempts to arrange dates with singer Billie Eilish and MMA influencer Nina Drama through X.

As concerns about his behavior mounted before the Haney fight, Garcia claimed to have proposed to Australian porn star Savannah Bond and even posted a video of their engagement.

Bond showed support for Garcia during his fight against Haney, but only four days later, Garcia was spotted with another mystery woman in Miami.
