Jake Paul and Mike Tyson's high-profile boxing match had to be delayed after the legend suffered al ulcer flare during a flight.

Since then, there has been speculation over whether Tyson will recover in time, though his confidence hasn't been dented.

Jake Paul posts bloody training video to intimidate Mike Perry

"Different date, same fate. I'm gonna knock out Jake Paul," Tyson warned Paul soon after the news.

While the post went viral, some have begun to wonder whether the 27-year-old former YouTuber will actually step into the ring with the former champion.

With Paul now scheduled to fight a different fighter, Mike Perry, on July 20 at a different venue, Amalie Arena, the 27-year-old has started to make some noise.

Tyson's recovery

Tyson was certainly busy last Sunday celebrating his birthday with family and friends. Nakisa Bidarian, the co-founder of Most Valuable Promotions, recently sat down with Ariel Helwani and talked about Tyson's health.

"How is he doing now?" Helwani asked during 'MMA Hour's' latest episode.

While Bidarian noted that Tyson is doing well in his recovery, he noted Paul isn't exactly happy.

"Jake is pissed cuz he sees Mike in Europe living life doing appearances celebrating his birthday," said Bidarian, who noted that Tyson seems to have resumed strength and body conditioning but isn't engaged in boxing training just yet.

They also discussed the concerns regarding Tyson's age, with Helwani asking: "What do you say to people who say the Tyson fight should not happen shouldn't have happened before, and shouldn't happen now."

Bidarian replied: "If Mike were in his early 30s, given Jake's experience there's no sense to the fact that age is the equalizing factor."

He noted that by 27, Paul's current age, Tyson had already amassed a record of 40 wins and one loss.

"What makes this fight exciting what makes it real is that there is a chance that either guy can lose," Bidarian added.

"So I think as long as he has a clean bill of health, which he did, and he will 100% will if we move forward with November 15th, which we plan to then of course that fight should happen."
