ANALYZED CRITERIA FOR CLASSIFICATION:
The six group winners, the six runners-up, and the four best third-placed teams will advance to the round of 16.
A) Highest number of points obtained in all group matches.
If two or more teams in the group are tied on points:
B) Highest number of points obtained in matches played between the teams in question.
C) Greater goal difference in matches played between the teams in question.
D) Higher number of goals scored in matches played between the teams in question.
If after applying criteria B, C, and D, teams remain tied, these same criteria will be reapplied, taking into account exclusively the matches played between them.
If some teams are still tied:
E) Greater goal difference in all group matches.
F) Higher number of goals scored in all group matches.
G) Fewer disciplinary points based on yellow and red cards received. (Red card = 3 points and yellow card = 1 point.)
The 4 best third-placed teams will be determined by these criteria:
A) Highest number of points.
B) Greater goal difference.
C) Higher number of goals scored.
D) Higher number of victories.
H) Fewer disciplinary points based on yellow and red cards received. (Red card = 3 points and yellow card = 1 point.)
