Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest Winners: Who were the previous winners of the traditional contest?

In what is now considered a 4th of July tradition in the U.S., there is one person who became a legend thanks to his improbable hot dog eating ability: Joey Chestnut.

With an impressive 16 wins, Chestnut has cemented his dominance in the Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest, last winning in 2023.

His unparalleled feat includes setting and breaking his own records, with his most astounding achievement being the consumption of 76 hot dogs in just 10 minutes, a feat recognized by Guinness World Records in 2021.

The Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest is held annually at the original Nathan's Famous location in Coney Island, New York, and has become synonymous with the American Independence Day tradition.

Throughout its existence, there have been competitors who have also earned their fame and whose names we present here.
