The New York Jets' minicamp is currently having some problems, they haven't handled Aaron Rodgers' absence from it in the best way. And sports analysts as well as detractors are having a field day against the team's leadership. One of the loudest voices against everything Aaron Rodgers does it Nick Wright, who has always been vocal about the preferencial treatment Rodgers usually gets everywhere he goes. Wright is convinced that the way in which the New York Jets treated Aaron Rodgers missing the pre-season mini camp has been nothing short of shameful. The Jets quarterback confessed he had to go on a trup to Egypt and see the pyramids.

Nick Wright explodes against Aaron Rodgers

During one of his most recent interventions on 'First Things First', he went on one of his usual rants to berate Aaron Rodgers for taking this trip to Egypt during the Jets mini camp. He said: "This is shameful. So, it has now been reported by multiple places he was in Egypt. f you listen to Aaron's own words about some of his interests in Egypt it seems to be along the lines of a lot of what some would call conspiratorial beliefs, he has about previous societies, Tartania, all those things. If the answer is, 'it was the only time in the schedule the Egyptologist would tell me about Tartania, so I had to go,' that's over here [unreasonable]. And so, if we all agree that there are certain excuses that would give you more grace, this would be one that would I think fairly generates the least."

Although he can get really loud sometimes, Nick Wright should've understood by now that there are some athletes who always get a pass for their storied and successful careers. Inevitably, we can't help but remember that vintage story of Sir Alex Ferguson at Manchester United when Eric Cantona was his best players during the '1990s. A legendary story of Sir Alex Ferguson fuming at the dressing room right after Cantona's kung fu kick to a fan depictst the treatment these stars get. After he cursed at everybody for their performances, Sir Alex approach Eric and said in a calmed tone: "And Eric. You can't go around doing things like that son." Cantona was suspended for nine months after that. Wright needs to understand how some stars are treated. It's just the way this works.
