Bowling: Montclair’s Burns, Livingston’s Cheng win back-to-back Essex Indiv. titles

The top 12 boys girls bowlers based on series from the Essex County Team Tournament a few weeks back competed in the conference’s individual tournament this past Monday at North Arlington Lanes.

Livingston’s Victoria Cheng won the girls title and Montclair’s Tai Burns took home the boys championship for the second season in a row.

Cheng, who had the second most pins at the team tournament, obtained the third seed for the five-player stepladder finals by rolling a 487 series. She led after Game 1 with her 192.
