There’s a new real estate series in the Netflix universe, and this time it’s headed to New York City.

In the upcoming series “Owning Manhattan”, the veil is pulled back on brokerage firm Serhant, giving viewers a behind-the-scenes look as the agents navigate the glamorous and cut-throat world of luxury real estate.

Celebrity broker Ryan Serhant, founder and CEO of the firm, says real estate in New York is unlike any other city in the world.

“You’re selling air,” he told the Daily News. “There are townhouses so you are selling land, but a lot of times you’re selling somebody four walls 600 feet in the air.”

“A lot of times, the buildings aren’t even built yet, so you’re selling the idea, you’re selling the location,” he added. “New York specifically is about location, location, location.”

The famous broker, who has closed more than $8 billion in sales, started his own company in 2020 after 12 years with Nest Seekers International. His firm has since become one of the fastest-growing full-service brokerages in the country.

No stranger to reality TV, Serhant has previously appeared in more than 100 episodes of Bravo’s “Million Dollar Listing: New York.” But compared to what he’s experienced in the past, he says his upcoming series is better “quality.”

“Netflix vs. Bravo. There’s definitely a level of production quality that I’m not afraid to talk about. There’s a lot of intention,” Serhant candidly told the News.

“This show is really fun in that you get to see all price ranges. You get to see rentals and sales. You get to see things go forward and you get to see deals die,” he said. “But I think New York is so special in that way and I think ‘Owning Manhattan’ really captures the vibe.”

“Owning Manhattan” premieres on Netflix on June 28.
