Text message for best friend

I miss you my friend. I wrote you another letter tonight and tucked it safely away. Maybe one day you will want to read it. I'll keep waiting. I won't push you or bother you. I'll respect your wishes. But I won't give up on you or on our friendship. I just can't do that. I can't bear to lose you a second time.

Sometimes in certain situations all you can do is send a text to let your friend know you are thinking about them. You can make your text message comforting without it being trite or insensitive.
