Transfer news – LIVE!
Pre-season may have started but, during the transfer window, all eyes are on what business the big Premier League clubs conduct. Manchester United have already been busy after signing both Joshua Zirkzee and Leny Yoro but continue to chase new signings, with Manuel Ugarte having reportedly agreed personal terms ahead of a move from PSG. Now, Arsenal youngster Chido Obi-Martin is thought to be an eye-catching target. Reports also suggest United would be willing to sell Mason Mount this summer, and Tottenham are among the clubs interested.
For their part, Arsenal want to keep the Obi-Martin but are still looking to strengthen their own frontline. Indeed, Pedro Neto has long been linked with a move to the Gunners and reports now suggest he actively wants to join, but Nico Williams is said to be closing in on a move to Barcelona. In more positive news for Arsenal, goalkeeper Tommy Setford is on the verge of joining in time for their USA tour.
Chelsea, of course, has been as busy as ever but are yet to sign the striker they are chasing. Ollie Watkins capped off a remarkable season for Aston Villa by scoring a famous semi-final winner for England at Euro 2024 and has again been touted as a target.
