According to a survey conducted in 2023 among National Assembly members in South Korea about climate change awareness, about 83 percent of respondents believed that the most worrying human rights issue that may arise from the climate crisis is the worsening inequality on environments where socially vulnerable groups live. The environments they live in tend to be especially vulnerable to climate disasters such as floods.
