Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Family 4 adults 3 children. All had a great time. Enjoyed seeing the sights from the river. Felt safe and in good hands. The highspeed ride was fun, lots of thrills and giggles with great music.

We arrived at the venue at 9:15 so we were in plenty of time for activity. To get there on time we had to have a taxi which cost us £45 between us. A lady from a different company told us that the speedboat was no longer run by city cruises. We had to wait to 9:50 for someone from city cruises to arrive, the lady told us that all third parties had been informed weeks previously and all they could do was offer a complimentary ticket to out chosen destination. I can't belive that a couple of days previous to this you took my money for the activity. I would like a full refund immediately and a refund for the taxi as well. I didn't get a receipt for the taxi as I didn't know I would need any proof at that point.

One of the best sight seeing trips we’ve ever done. Informative and exhilarating. The guide told us things about London that I never knew and the kids loved the high supper ride (as did I). Loved it

It was great fun and definitely worth the money, the manager even gave us a great discount for the 3 of us. Would recommend they provide coats and trousers so you don’t get wet as well!

A truly memorable experience.
The crew were excellent and very knowledgeable, providing interesting historical facts about the Thames, the bridges and the points of interest passed en route.
Once we passsed Tower Bridge down river, the speed increased and we experienced a thrill a minute ride, including sharp turns and bouncing off the waves.
Highly recommended.

Myself and my son loved this. We got a brilliant view of the sights and plenty of pictures. The high speed part was really good fun and my son had a broad smile throughout. Thanks to the crew.

If the weather isn’t good (raining), does it still go ahead?! If so, and anyone has been on whilst it’s raining, what’s it like? Thank you.

Hi , to be honest, i really don't think it would be much fun with the rain against your face whilst you are travelling at high speed.
I would advise to get in touch with them to determine whether you can cancel or they even cancel if it is raining. They are very approachable.

Is it very cold in March on the boat? What would one wear next week for this boat ride?
Stephanie G

Yeah we went in December and it was freezing, as it's on water and it's really fast when your behind or Infront of the wind I would wrap up however they do provide you with a big waterproof over coat.
Hope that helps

I know the boat ride lasts for 50 minutes, but how long does the whole experience last with arrival time etc taken into account?
Thanks

Just got back from Cape Verde, the above reply is spot on, still go if it is cold as we did, the clothing provided will keep you warm and dry for what is a great treat in our capital :-)
Is there an age restriction ?

Not that I was aware of
How wet do you get? Is there space for you to put your bags without them getting wet?

They have a box to put your bags in, we could not take them on the boat. They gave us blue coats to keep us dry and offered waterproof trousers, which we did not use. We did not get wet, but the crew said it depends on the waves on the day.
