This Bible is quite nice. The whole presentation of it; the hardcover, 2 ribbon bookmarks, & the sturdy box sleeve, all make this perfect for gift giving or to add to your collection.The Bible is obviously the New King James Version (NKJV), but there is more to this Bible than just the translation.This Bible starts by having a checklist for every chapter in every book of the Bible. This is handy because the Bible isn't typically read like a standard book. Often we hop around the different books/chapters. This way we can tick off and keep track.There are blue areas that are study guides for different sections. There are green sections that give you more info/background on some biblical figures.A lot of the margins have things to think about while you read a particular section.The print is a nice size too. It's not super tiny like most traditional Bibles, but it's not gigantic either. I can see why they call it "comfort print."Overall this Bible is a great quality and I definitely recommend it.

I got my Lucado Study Bible today and it is way better than described. If you are looking for a nice leather navy blue Bible that has reflection questions, end of book study questions, application notes, scriptural thought guides, book introductions, character biographies, in-depth study topics, devotionals, prayer guides, marginal room for notetaking, and more!! Then this is a very good Bible resource. My favorite feature other than the beautiful navy blue, is the NKJV translation as well as the end of book study questions to enhance study and retaining what you read. My only CON is I wish ALL publishers of ALL Bibles would label large or "comfort" print as font size 10 for us middle agers or older readers. This 9.5 is ok with my glasses so Im good. I also want to mention the 2 satin ribbons are gorgeous!!! I definitely recommend.

I bought this a week or so ago. I waited for what seemed to be forever to receive it but it is 100% worth it: the first day I got it I read and cried. And that was with just the introduction which I never normally read ( I highly recommend you do!). There are a couple of things I’d change based on personal preference ( red lettering for when Jesus speaks, and tabs.) Other than that if you have read Max Lucado, then you know the quality your getting. It’s a devotional study Bible. It really speaks for itself. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

I have recently gotten back into Bible study and have gone overboard with buying guides, commentaries, and bibles. I have bought and returned five bibles. This one is definitely the one I am keeping. The only thing missing is Jesus’s words in red, which I would LOVE to see in the future. I want to gift this to family members and friends who are not yet saved, but I won’t due to the lack of this feature. I personally think the red letter version is very helpful for those just beginning their walk with Christ.

She has kept this Bible for with her everywhere and I was forced to immediately order her some marker pens and highlighters. Gotta say I’m proud of my girl. My daddy was a preacher and she wants to take after him and be a minister herself. God is Great!!
