Former Alabama CB, Vikings rookie Khyree Jackson dies in car crash
COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) - Former Alabama standout and Minnesota Vikings rookie cornerback Khyree Jackson has tragically passed away at the age of 24 following an overnight car crash.
According to Maryland State Police, Jackson was one of three people who died in the crash in Prince George’s County.
Officials say Jackson died at the scene - the other victims were Isaiah Hazel, 23, and Anthony Lytton, Jr., 24.
The team announced the heartbreaking news Saturday morning via its X account:

The University of Alabama also took to social media to offer their condolences to the Jackson Family:

The Vikings selected Jackson in the fourth round of the 2024 NFL Draft. He played two years at the University of Alabama before playing his final season at the University of Oregon in 2023.
