Decreasing Precipitation Chances for Sunday
CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - While some have been dry today, other locations were not so lucky.
Some mountain snow continues to linger around southeast Wyoming. A Winter Storm Warning continues for the Snowy Range above 8,500 feet until 6 PM Sunday. Additional snow accumulation of 10-16 inches are expected. A Winter Weather Advisory continues until 6 PM Sunday for the Sierra Madre Range above 8,500 feet. Additional snow accumulations of 4-18 inches. A Winter Weather Advisory continues until Midnight tonight for the South Laramie Range. Additional snow accumulation of 4 to 7 inches is expected.

Elsewhere, while rain and snow remain possible this evening in southeast Wyoming and the Nebraska Panhandle, most locations will see mostly cloudy skies. Low temperatures for tonight will be into the 20s and 30s around the region.

As we head into Sunday, while most locations will be dry, we will see some scattered showers develop during the afternoon. Later into the evening showers will taper off allowing for some clearing, especially around sunset. High temperatures for Sunday will be into the 40s and 50s. Some locations that may even get to see some sunshine could see high temperatures into the 60s.

Extended Forecast for Cheyenne - Showers will be possible on Sunday, especially into the afternoon hours. Sunshine returns by Monday, with temperatures warming into the 60s. Breezy conditions return for Tuesday.
