One left dead following overnight shooting in Yellowstone National Park

YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - An individual has been left dead after a law-enforcement involved shooting in Yellowstone National Park.
Rangers responded to a report of an individual with a firearm making threats at Canyon Village, located in the central part of Yellowstone National Park, in the early morning hours of July, 4. When rangers contacted the individual, there was an exchange of gunfire between the subject and law enforcement rangers.
The armed subject died during the incident, and their identity has not yet been released.
One Yellowstone law enforcement officer was left injured. they are now in stable condition and being treated at a nearby hospital.
The FBI is leading the investigation into the incident with support from National Park Service special agents.
