The Huasteca Alta region is one of the regions of the Mexican state of Veracruz.[1][2] It is part of the broader Huasteca region that comprises parts of the states of Tamaulipas, Veracruz, Puebla, Hidalgo, San Luis Potosí, Querétaro and Guanajuato.[3]
