Merger proposal

[edit]

It has been proposed to merge New Burmese Constitution with Constitution of Burma. Feel free to state your position on the merger proposal by beginning a new line in this section with *'''Support''' or *'''Oppose''', then sign your comment with ~~~~. Since polling is not a substitute for discussion, please explain your reasons.

Merged a long time ago with both Constitution of Burma and Burmese constitutional referendum, 2008. Int21h (talk) 20:23, 12 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Discussion

[edit]
Any additional comments:

the name should be Myanmar, as in keeping with official title and the actual name on the document itself link to constitution: http://www.president-office.gov.mm/en/sites/default/files/books/07-2012/ConRepubMyanmEng.pdf

Constituion of MYANMAR

[edit]

Both ASEAN and the UN refer to the former British stolen land of "Burma" as Myanmar. Kindly amend the article to suit INTERNATIONAL NORMS.Peeweebee (talk) 21:54, 9 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This falls under the auspices of Talk:Burma/Myanmar; discuss there. This article should follow that article's naming decision for cohesion. Int21h (talk) 20:27, 12 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
