As ADNOC continues its sustainability journey, we are proud to share our 2023 Sustainability Report – showcasing our progress in advancing towards net zero, protecting nature and biodiversity, empowering people and driving prosperity. Our key highlights: - We maintained our industry-leading carbon intensity of ~7kg CO2e/boe through assured disclosure demonstrating solid progress towards our Net Zero by 2045 ambition. - We achieved a 6.2m tCO2e reduction in our scope 1 and 2 emissions by scaling up our decarbonization efforts and using 100% solar and nuclear power for our onshore operations. - We contributed to biodiversity preservation through various initiatives, including planting 2.5 million mangrove seeds and constructing 200 artificial reefs. - We continued to drive sustainable growth by creating 6,500 jobs in the UAE private sector. - We positively impacted more than 1.2 million people via our CSR programs.
