The Port of Tangier is a deep-water port inaugurated in 2007 and located on the side of the Strait of Gibraltar, in the north of Morocco. It is also very close to the Spanish city of Ceuta. Its strategic location, makes it a key point on the maritime trade routes to Europe, America and, of course, Africa. This case study is about the rehabilitation of a deck type industrial roof, with rock wool and bituminous sheet with an aged mineral finish. Over two intensive days, they delved into the theoretical foundations of polyurea application, honing their understanding of machine maintenance, and reinforcing crucial health and safety protocols. But theory is only half the equation! On the second day, participants dove into the practical side, getting hands-on with the material and experiencing the real application of polyurea. It's this blend of theory and practice that ensures our applicators are not just knowledgeable but truly proficient in their craft. We extend our gratitude to our supporting members whose contributions made this training possible. A big thank you to Sika for allowing Dirk Uebelhoer to share his expertise as a PDA Europe trainer.
