MDAG announces doc dozen for inaugural Progress Pitch Session
Twelve projects have been selected for the first Progress Pitching Session, organised as part of Millennium Docs Against Gravity Industry. The films will be presented to an international group of pitching experts on 12 May during the 20th edition of the Polish documentary festival. The pitch moderator will be Frank Piasecki Poulsen.
20th Millennium Docs Against Gravity announces programme
Poland’s largest film festival will be held May 12-21 in cinemas across 8 Polish cities (Warsaw, Wrocław, Gdynia, Poznań, Katowice, Łódź, Bydgoszcz and Lublin) and online from May 23 to June 4. The theme of this year's edition is "Don’t be indifferent," a reference to the famous speech of Polish historian and journalist Marian Turski, and also “an expression of the values that have accompanied the festival since its inception,” say organisers.
Short Pitch Program at Millennium Docs: deadline April 13
Applicants from Central and Eastern Europe have two days to get their short doc submissions in for the Millenium Docs Against Gravity Short Pitch Program (Warsaw, Poland, May 14 2023). Five short documentary film projects at rough cut stage will be pitched to sales agents, distributors, and festival and TV representatives.
