- Note: Main discussion of U.S. copyright is at Commons:Deletion requests/Files in Category:1934 stamps of Germany. This is a series of deletion nominations: 1926, 1927, 1928, (no discussion of 1929), 1930, 1931, 1932, 1933, 1934, 1935, 1936, 1937, 1938, 1939, 1940, 1941, 1942. Some of the years have discussions of individual stamps for each year. --Closeapple (talk) 00:50, 29 December 2013 (UTC)
- Partly oppose: The base pictures of these 1926 stamps are older than the stamps were in public domain before URAA (published before 1925). This is true with no doubt for Goethe (Orininal painting from 1828), Kant (Original may be this one, this one or others published before 1925), Schiller (Original), Dürer (File:Duerer01.jpg), Friedrich II. (:File:Friedrich Zweite Alt.jpg|Original]]), Bach (File:Bach.jpg), Leibnitz (Original) and should be right for Lessing, Schiller and Beethoven (did not find the originals by now). The only picture I don't have an idea on is the Flugpost Adler but this seems to be a PD-shape-case. -- Achim Raschka (talk) 10:46, 25 December 2013 (UTC)
--Mogelzahn (talk) 20:00, 25 January 2014 (UTC)
