I do not understand how can works unprotected in Germany (country of their origin) be protected in the US under URAA? The German copyright law clearly sets protection as 70 years after the year of death of the author or the YEAR OF PUBLICATION if the author is unknown. As far as I can see authors of at least some stamps here are unknown.
