English: The Forest Preserve District of Cook County (FPDCC), also known as the Forest Preserves of Cook County or Cook County Forest Preserve, is a government agency in Cook County, Illinois. It owns nature preserves and other land for nature preservation and public recreation. It was formed in 1914 and first purchased land in 1916.
