•  Comment I uploaded this image. I leave a thank you note on each image I upload, thanking the flickr photographer for using a CC license that allows re-use. I never hear back from most flickr contributors. Most who respond, are grateful, and like knowing their images are being re-used. Very occassionally I hear from flickr contributors who, although they freely licensed their images for re-use, weren't happy to learn they were being re-used. In those cases I offer to initiate a deletion discussion, where they can request courtesy deletion. And I will do that here.

IIRC, in the four years and thousands of images I have uploaded from flickr since I decided I would spend an extra 20 seconds per image to thank the flickr uploader, only two flickr people wanted that deletion discussion initiated. One further flickr uploader said she would change the licenses on all her other images, but would honor the license she mistakenly put on the couple of images that had been uploaded. The standard copyright term in South Africa for photos is 50 years since publication, but the photo isn't even 50 years old. Besides, if the standard South African copyright term applies in South Africa, then the standard United States copyright term (95 years since publication) applies in the United States. It doesn't say where this photo was taken, but the things in the background look like South African flags. In most countries, all paintings, sculpture, architecture, text, and other creative works have copyrights which last for 70 years after the death of the creator. An image of a work that is still under copyright is a derivative work, and infringes on the copyright so that we cannot usually keep the image on Commons. In some countries, there is a special exception to the copyright law which allows such images under certain circumstances. We call that exception freedom of panorama (FOP). In my opinion, all of your images are out of project scope. There is an exception that allows the uploading of a small number of images for use on a personal user page, but 30 files, including a video, appear not to be a small number. On the top of that, some of your images may to be considered copyright infringement per COM:DW. The posters that are clearly visible on some of them are protected by copyright, even the designs of the T-shirts that you wear are also protected.

Other issues: It is difficult to me to believe that the professionally looking artwork and the scribble images are created by the same person, and self-promotion is not permitted on Wikipedia, which is the only use that you give to your Wikipedia account. I do not have the financial means or materials to speak to so many people, but some of these people I contacted by phone or email to explain my intention to include their works in Article Talavera de la Reina in the Spanish Wikipedia, gave me permission to use them, because otherwise this article could not be done. If I could contact all authors of the photographs illustrating the article would explain my circumstances, as I did with those I spoke by phone or email, but that is impossible. Everyone understood my situation, my limitations and allowed me to upload their images the only way I can, the simplest and quickest. As much as we would like to believe that everyone asks the author's permission, this is very often not the case - hence the need to use OTRS to archive the permission given by the author. Many of the images you uploaded are easily replaced by images already on Commons. For example, free-to-use images of common plants and animals which you uploaded can be found by searching for their binomial Latin name. Yes, you can. You can crop any image on Commons and upload it as a derivative work. The easiest way to do this is to select "Es un trabajo derivado de otro ya existente en Commons" at Commons:Upload. The instructions for that tool are in English but it's pretty straightforward. I find it downright impossible to contact each and every one of the people responsible for the many images that I used to illustrate my article, could do it in some cases but not in all. Many images have an unknown author who does not mind them being used by other people, it is precisely for that hung them on the internet. For image: contacted by telephone with his author: Jerónimo López Lobato, on this phone: 0670538066, is a professional photographer with own website: www.jeronimolopez.com, that allowed me to use his picture, he was a published work in a local tourism website that had been paid economically. The free licenses on Commons are used to release photos or other works as free to use for any purpose. Regarding leaving an image an image of questionable copyright status on the site until someone complains about it: Commons is not concerned about whether copyright holders care. Unless the photographer granted release of the photo under the license it's tagged with, Commons must not distribute the image that way.
