The rationale for uploading this appears to be that all the paritcipants in the video were US Marines, as was (one assumes) the cameraman. However, that would only make the video PD if it were being produced as part of their official duties (sections 101 and 105 of the copyright act of 1976 https://www.copyright.gov/title17/92chap1.html). which 'watching super icky gross porn videos HAHAHA look how awful it is!!!' is not. Many videos uploaded to Youtube these days are released as Creative Commons; however, this particular video was uploaded before that was an option, and the uploader never changed that.

Oh, and the 2G1C soundtrack audible throughout the video is copyrighted too. DS (talk) 02:16, 5 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  •  Comment The background music is Herve Roy's "Lover's Theme" from the album Romantic Themes, 1992, which was previously published somewhere in France as a part of a production music library. As far as the video, there isn't enough information to indicate it was part of an official duty. When in doubt, delete; there are some better ways to make a freely licenced reaction video than to cull stuff from YouTube in order to depict a visual representation of "reaction video". --Misterpither (talk) 16:23, 8 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
