Is it possible to use the silhouette of the trophy in the case of the Copa Interamericana trophy, for example? I could simply turn all the files I've uploaded into mere conceptual pieces with no details to resemble any original file, they would be all creations of mine and wouldn't propose any license infrigement. This representation of the trophies can be seen in southamericn football clubs such as this (see upper right corner of the page). Would this still suppose a license infringement? I just don't want my files gone ☹ --Wikialien (talk) 02:56, 12 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Wikialien I don´t know if the use of the silhouette is allowed, due to some of the trophies are (still under a silhouette) complex enough to be under copyright. P.e. the Copa Libertadores Trophy, or the Suruga Bank itself. - Fma12 (talk) 13:42, 13 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
 Keep File:Coplibertad.png
 Keep File:Copa Conmebol 1995.jpg
 Keep File:Copa Intercontinental.svg
Keep File:Supercopa Sudamericana 1997.jpg These four files are not copied and are original works of users, unlike the other files taken from websites or editing images without copyright in Commons. Regards. --WIKI-WOLVERINE (talk) 01:44, 22 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
WIKI-WOLVERINE: Those four files that you mentioned, are derivative works of pre-existing trophies created between 1960 and 1997, so all of them are still under copyright. No matter whether some user renderize the cups himself instead of uploading images from Google. - Fma12 (talk) 23:50, 22 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
