Rollbacker on English Wikipedia and Simple English Wikipedia. Patroller here.(verify) It would be useful to revert blatant vandalism spanning many edits like these two, since the copy and paste method of reverting multiple edits is much more error prone and less time efficient: Revision of File:JohnCabotPainting.jpg and Revision of File:Disparates_04.jpg. Thank you for your time, MorganKevinJ(talk) 04:12, 25 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I am rollbacker on English and Serbian wikipedia, and reviewer and file mover here on commons. Rollback will make things much easier. If you have any question, i will gladly respond. Thanks. WhiteWriter speaks 19:01, 1 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I have been using rollback feature on the English Wikipedia for over a year. I would like to be able to use this feature of Commons to help revert vandalism. Thank you. Jovian Eye talk 13:10, 1 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

So i don´t need to use my GR flag while patrolling. Thank you. WizardOfOz talk 21:02, 9 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Did you read the message above? "Admins and anyone with global rollback don't need to request rollback." MC10 (talk) 03:20, 11 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
If I´m honest no. Just tought it is better to request it before I use my global rights. But thx, so close and forget it :D. --WizardOfOz talk 20:27, 12 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
As trusted user (sysop and bureaucrat on meta, global rollbacker) it's ok, good luck! axpdeHello! 13:55, 13 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I have the rollback tool at En-wiki and Sv-wiki (where i am also admin). I find the tool useful to revert my own mistakes and obvious cases of vandalism. When looking at recent changes by unregistered users and new users i also find the tool useful for seeing if the edit is the most recent on on the file-page, since the rollback-link does not appear if an edit has been made after. Thank you. Evalowyn (talk) 10:35, 14 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
✓ Done. Thanks for your works! — [ Tanvir | Talk ] 09:09, 18 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I have 9000+ edits on commons and I am an administrator on English Wikipedia who specializes in moving images to commons. I have never misused the rollback tool on English Wikipedia, either as a rollbacker or an admin. The tool would be of help when I catch a few systematic errors (e.g., ones where I've made lots of typos) - rather than having to wait for popups. Thank you. I am a Sysop azwiki and azwikiquote and I Reviewer enwiki and I Editor and Patroller trwiki and I Autopatrolled metawiki. I feel I can usefully build on this experience by working as a Rollback. Thank you! Cekli829 (talk) 13:45, 16 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
And why are you blocked in hywiki?--Anatoliy (talk) 13:16, 18 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, Anatoliy! I was blocked because I placed flag of Azerbaijan in my page:))) --Cekli829 (talk) 14:47, 18 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, I can't read the delete reason. If you were blocked for illegal reasons, you should request for unblock on meta (maybe meta:Global blocks and locks?) Regards axpdeHello! 20:03, 21 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
As far I can see, Cekli829 placed that flag in his userpage, a local admin removed it, he asked him why and placed the flag again, another user (or admin?) wrote that "would be easier to delete and block" and the admin blocked him, the reason is here (google says "inappropriate") I personally think that those kind of blocks should be ignored in other wikis, seems to be a politic block, not an user-behavior block. --Màñü飆¹5 talk 22:20, 21 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I agree. Problematic block (Armenia and Azerbaijan are in conflict). I support the Request. Geagea (talk) 01:48, 4 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I'm sorry that happened to you. If you were blocked simply due to placing the flag on your page, that is unacceptable. InverseHypercube (talk) 02:07, 12 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I just checked, I'm able to unblock you (but please no overdim flags again ;-), just file a request at m:Steward requests/Global! axpdeHello! 23:00, 26 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
With all due respect, no. The global sysops role is clearly defined as to do antivandalism and routine maintenance. Unblocking this user as things stand now there is not inside the role's scope. If he thinks his block is unfair, local venues --if any-- were attempted and were unsuccessful he must use requests for comments at meta where his case with evidences can be examinated by all the Wikimedia Community; lacking a global body of conflict resolution & arbitration (proposal). --Dferg (talk) 11:40, 30 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Don't get me wrong, I didn't want to suggest, that I will simply override local admin decisions! Sorry, my last posting was unclear. Of course, there has to be a community decision first! But as you surely know, on small wikis there might be a problem if there are too few local admins (here: 6 in total, only 3~4 active), making an appeal difficult. axpdeHello! 07:44, 7 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
P.S.: Just found m:Requests for comment/User:Cekli829, that's what I wanted to suggest! axpdeHello! 07:47, 7 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
