Notification about possible deletion

[edit]
Some contents have been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether they should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at their entry.

If you created these pages, please note that the fact that they have been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with them, such as a copyright issue. Please see Commons:But it's my own work! for a guide on how to address these issues.

Please remember to respond to and – if appropriate – contradict the arguments supporting deletion. Arguments which focus on the nominator will not affect the result of the nomination. Thank you!

Wrong information?

I have no idea how this works i just created this account to type this message... but the information on this page linked above is wrong. This photo is the 401/404 interchange on the Toronto/Scarborough border which is on the opposite side of the city and approx 20-40mins depending on traffic from the Pearson airport section of the highway. The 401/404 interchange is the 18 lanes + 4 merge lanes = 22 lanes and is the widest highway in the world. JadeNGardens (talk) 21:24, 6 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

  • How did you get that super high res version of File:Philippa Foot 1939.jpg? The original is postcard sized and is a group image. --RAN (talk) 19:43, 30 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Can't recall. Usually by diligent searching or by extracting the hidden original from the original website. But then I would have uploaded the uncropped original. So this might be just an Alamy-like extrapolation or a crop from here [1] that I cleaned up with Gimp. Materialscientist (talk) 01:06, 1 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
