What are my stored data used for?

When you visit certain websites or click on certain advertising banners on websites you visit, the ad server places a cookie on your computer. In this cookie certain information (data) - anonymised or pseudonymised - is stored, e.g. about the frequency of the display of advertising banners, etc.
