The Lead Operational Buyer is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing contracts for a variety of goods and services. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the supply chain and be able to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
Sourcing and negotiating contracts for a variety of goods and services
Managing the supply chain from order placement to delivery
Working with suppliers to ensure that products and services meet quality standards
Monitoring inventory levels and forecasting demand
Working with other departments to ensure that the company has the resources it needs to meet its goals
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field
5+ years of experience in purchasing or supply chain management
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP system
