The first AI SUMMIT at the Vodafone Tech Innovation Center Dresden: Two days of exciting info sessions, numerous speakers and plenty of time to connect came to an end yesterday evening. Great speakers and colleagues from all over Europe had traveled to the event to look at artificial intelligence (AI) in all its facets and learn the latest news from the industry. In addition to exciting presentations on the AI universe and a speed dating session with the speakers, there was plenty of time to exchange ideas on the topics of ethics, hardware and software. And this across all areas. The event is a wonderful example of how passion is always a decisive factor in competition. Passion that keeps asking: How can we position ourselves even better internally at Vodafone? Connect even better? So that we can support our customers even better with all the questions that arise and will arise around the AI universe. A big "thank you" shout out to everyone who made this event a very special one. #wearehere #togetherwecan #AISummit #ArtificialIntelligence #Technology #Innovation #Ethics #GoAI #GoVodafone #TeamRed

5G funding project supported by Vodafone Tech Innovation Center Dresden nominated for the Saxon Digital Prize 2024! The '#5G-Waldwächter' project has been running in the Görlitz district since 2022, funded by the German Federal Ministry of Digital and Transport. To support #forest health, the project about identifying two sources of danger to our forests early on: fires🔥 and bark beetles🐞 (yes, this is not a bark beetle but there was no suitable icon so we choose a cute alternative) For this purpose, research institutions, SMEs and local administration have come together under the consortium leadership of the Görlitz district. Vodafone supports the project with 5G #connectivity, #narrowband #IoT and of course expertise on the topic of connectivity. In addition to the jury's evaluation, an audience vote is crucial for the final evaluation! So pls support the team via https://lnkd.in/eeFB6ARs #togetherwecan

In the „ViLiEv“ research project, the XR INTERACTION network partners VRketing GmbH, VR Bits GmbH and Vodafone Tech Innovation Center Dresden are working together under the coordination of Technische Universität Chemnitz (Professur Arbeitswissenschaft und Innovationsmanagement) to develop technologies and applications for virtual event formats such as live concerts.
