DishHome was founded in 2010 after the merger of two DTH providers, namely Home TV and Dish Nepal, with the aim of delivering cutting-edge digital entertainment and connectivity solutions. In 2011, SandMartin International Holding (SMT) became one of the shareholders of the company, bringing a wealth of expertise in new technologies and digital innovations, which further enhanced DishHome’s offerings and solidified its position as a pioneer in the industry.

DishHome crossed the first milestone of 100,000 DTH subscribers in 2012 and then experienced rapid growth, surpassing 300,000 subscribers by 2016.
