Release dates

edit

I've added a source for the DVD release dates. It's not official, but it's the best I could find. The source listed DVDs released after 2009, but I left them out since this article states that the last video was released in September 2009. Clarinetguy097 (talk) 13:54, 26 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

Sources for release dates

edit

This article (along with many others on kids' TV shows) has seen repeated changes to dates by fly-by IP editors. There are never sources or explanations and the IPs do not respond to talk requests. That ends now.

I just added sources for four dates. It took about 3 minutes. I will source the rest over the next few days. Anyone wishing to change dates after that, will need to provide a source. Unsourced changes will be reverted. Editors will be warned and blocked as needed. Page protection will also be used as needed.

Questions? Comments? No? Good. - SummerPhDv2.0 13:43, 12 June 2015 (UTC)Reply

While I am at it, I've taken care of a few other minor quibbles.
I have removed the obvious links in the titles of the videos. We generally do not add Wikilinks inside of titles/direct quotes.
I have removed the VHS and DVD headers, merged the two sections and arranged by year, then alphabetically. The format of each release is not particularly relevant for the purposes of this article and I am not finding separate sources for release dates by format. - SummerPhDv2.0 21:12, 13 June 2015 (UTC)Reply
In case it wasn't obvious, removing sources and then changing dates is not gonna work. Also, adding titles that don't seem to exist and using a source for a somewhat similar -- but clearly different -- title with a different date is also going to be a problem.
If this is all too confusing, feel free to discuss the issue here. - SummerPhDv2.0 04:02, 21 June 2015 (UTC)Reply

Marketing Ploy with Ugly Kids

edit

Why do the Baby Einstein DVDs have those really ugly kids and babies in them? I see that two of them are the creator's children so that makes sense but what about the rest? Are they all relatives or friends of the family? Or is it a smooth marketing technique to use ugly kids and babies so people will remember the video / DVD just for that reason. I sure do...ewwwwww. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.193.176.171 (talk) 17:24, 30 November 2011 (UTC)

I think it may be to add some diversity to the videos. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.45.24.31 (talk) 00:10, 4 December 2017 (UTC)Reply

In the earlier videos. They are just nearby kids from where Clark was filming in Colorado. For the later ones, idk. Dj100024 (talk) 03:58, 2 March 2018 (UTC)Reply

Get it right

edit

Can I just say something. I am what they call a Baby Einstein Enthusiast. I know this shit. People falsely thinking Shakespeare is 2000 and Bach is 199o is one thing. Thinking Baby Newton was in 01, and the discovery kit order is another thing. Like come on people, Get it right. Dj100024 (talk) 03:47, 2 March 2018 (UTC)Reply

The problem is that the themes were released on VHS and a few months later on DVD. The article should be giving the original release dates. For example, Baby MacDonald had a release date entered of 2004. That's because it was released on DVD on 16 March 2004, per this source [1]. Its first release was 5 October 2003. 2003 was entered in the article this afternoon and promptly reverted.
Another example: Baby Neptune:Discovering Water. DVD release was 18 March 2003. Original release was 27 May 2002. Date was changed from 2003 to 2002 but has been changed back. Meet The Orchestra:First Instruments is shown with its DVD release date of 2006 but was first released on 17 September 2005. Can we get our act together on this? 92.1.65.91 (talk) 16:17, 25 March 2018 (UTC)Reply

List of videos and kits

edit

I've blanked the two lists as they are unsourced and a constant magnet for edit warring/disruptive editing. Until we can find a source, it should not be included. Even if we do find sources, I am not convinced a list adds any value. EvergreenFir (talk) 20:03, 10 August 2018 (UTC)Reply

I agree with the blanking, but some newbie accounts and IPs have been edit warring to put it back. Per WP:NOT we don't maintain product lists on Wikipedia, particularly unsourced ones. - MrOllie (talk) 18:56, 8 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

Baby Einsteins, ( normally known as Baby Einsteins company) is a Walt Disney home entertainment home video that was normally released. It was the first ever Baby Einsteins series ever made and it aired on Playhouse Disney. Before that time, it focuses on animals who solve problems and reshare feelings to each people who have difficulties. Before little einsteins, it had CDs, books and Interactive games that are problem solving for infants and preschoolers.

In the baby Einstein's company, the company announced that Baby Einsteins were going to be new with Little Einsteins, a series with four kids and a rocket. After it was released, the Baby Einstein company never stopped airing on Playhouse disney. A pilot episode and two Stand-alone specials, a baby goat problem, monkey monkey keep on swingin!, and caring and sharing were also released into Playhouse Disney.

Baby bach a orange bunny in the baby Einstein's company. He is a very clumsy bunny and trips and falls on every episode. Some of his Friends make fun of him, but he refuses to be upset and Giggles with them too. He is voiced by Carmen Dr John.

Baby Adventure monkey a brown monkey in the Baby Einsteins company. Always wanting to be an adventurous monkey, she goes on adventures to find buried treasure like toast or peanut butter. In the end of every episode, she says, "see you real soon"! Just like Mickey Mouse in Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. She is voiced by Arthur Parker.

Baby Jumping Jelly Bean a kangaroo who uncontrollably jumps every time. Whatever his friends try to stop her, she says that she can't stop and she jumps when she is excited and jumps away from them. She is also teased by baby vagh Grogh who called her "jumping Unstoppable kangaroo", and "wasting her time on a peanut butter and jelly sandwich". She is voiced by Tony Gautier.

Baby vagh grogh a blue goat who teases everyone. He is a teasing goat and play pranks on everyone including picking on them and teasing them. He is voiced by Richard James caper.

Marching horse, lovable elephant, and dancing puppy a horse, Gray elephant, and brown puppy who wish to be amazing someday. When always down when they put on not so funny hilarious training, their friends make them feel better by making funny faces. They are voiced by Jane Parker, Reynold Gautier, and Johnny McQueen.

VHs releases: " hop baby bach hop"! " there is a different change for everyone". " slow down Jumping Jelly Bean". " a brand new friend". Note: this has the pilot episode, a baby goat problem. " try something new". " the circus animals new trick". " the horse racing contest". note: this is in season 3. " double VHS, slow down Jelly Bean and a brand new friend".
