The sources are acknowledged in this article, but there is a lot of copy pasting going on. Sources should be reworded in your own creative way, and if you use word for word copying, it should be done rarely, and properly, with quotation marks.

I agree with the aforementioned talk page note about copy and pasting. I also believe that the Defining Reproductive Rights section could be added to. While the article does give a definition according to the times of the Cold War, I believe a more current definition would be beneficial for readers so that they do not think for the rest of the article that the sole definition of reproductive rights is an attempt to control overpopulation. In the current strategies section, I would like to add information about Chile's new abortion laws which I think are highly relevant - Chile is not even mentioned in this section. In terms of citations, some of the sentences do still require citations to be backed up. I am appreciative that this article has a Religion section, although I do not think that the connections between religion and reproductive rights flow well. Instead it seems as though there is an abrupt section on Latin American Religion put in this article independent of mentioning reproductive rights. I think that it would be beneficial to add a section on Latin American Reproductive Rights Activist Groups so that readers could gain a greater understanding as to what is currently happening in relation to reproductive rights. I am interested in editing this article because Latin American women face many injustices, including a lack of bodily autonomy in many places. Reproductive rights are an important step in empowering women all over the world. I would focus my attention on discussing individual countries in Latin America rather than referencing at as one homogenous region. I would also dive deeper into the reproductive rights of migrant and indigenous women.

Hello everyone! I am a student from Rice University that has been assigned to revise this article for my Poverty, Justice, and Human Capabilities class.

This page is currently flagged for needing additional citations for verification. Without credible sources, the information on the page can not be trusted and can easily spread falsehoods and misconceptions. I plan to support the article with more sources than it currently has and ensure that each point is accurately cited. This article also has a very confusing and unorganized structure. The “Current Strategies” section title does not accurately describe the content within it. Several of the subesctions are not well developed and do not adequately address the issues within the diverse region of Latin America. Furthermore, the “Religous influences” section is too specific and underdeveloped to be warrant it’s own section. I will completely reorganize the article to make it easier to read and understand. This page is also lacking in discussion about the disparities in reproductive healthcare, so I will add several new sections to gain a more holistic view of reproductive rights in Latin America. It is crucial to keep the subject of Reproductive Rights in Latin America accurate and up to date because it has severe repercussions. Reproductive rights in Latin America are constantly evolving. This matter also affects people in various ways based on location, ethnicity, race, age, gender, and socioeconomic status. Latin America is a diverse region with varying views and influences on reproductive rights. Please refer to my sandbox for more information on the changes I plan to make and the sources I am using. The edits made to this page are well written, concise, written in neutral language, and rooted in credible sources. Some of the subsections of the Issues section do feel brief however, and could use statistical information, and a description of the issue in more depth than what is currently provided. Furthermore, in the Current Policies section, the years that abortion became legalized, if it did, would be useful for the reader to gain historical context. Furthermore, the article mentions many topics that can be linked to other Wikipedia articles to result in more traction from the page. Overall, development of the smaller paragraphs in the article’s Issues section could enhance the reader’s experience by providing more context on the topic. Hello fellow Wikipedian. There are many strengths in this article. The coverage of the topics are all comprehensive and extremely insightful! The article has a thorough overview of reproductive health in Latin America and it touches on multiple parts of the issue, from education to societal pressures, I found this very captivating. Also integrating statistics and data adds credibility to the arguments that were presented. The phrasing is clear and I found a specific sentence to capture this idea. For example: "While contraception usage has risen from 38% to 67% between 1986 and 2015, many challenges still exist." This sentence communicates the progress that was made while emphasizing that problems still persist and exist. As far as my suggestions go, I think adding more illustrations would be beneficial and so would having a bit more neutral phrasing for certain terms.
