Capitalization of ranks are inconsistent. My request is to change ranks like “Command sergeant major” to “Command Sergeant Major.” 73.249.9.213 (talk) 14:47, 23 December 2018 (UTC)
- Not done: This is a WP:PERENNIAL concern. Local consensus is for ranks to not be capitalized. @Necrothesp: can correct me if I'm wrong about this. Spintendo 08:47, 24 December 2018 (UTC)

Change pay grade E2's corresponding rank, The corresponding rank is Private Second Class, it is no longer private.

Suggestion to change title of US Army rank "Private Second Class" under OR-2 to "Private (E-2)" and title of US Army rank "Private" under OR-1 to "Private (E-1)" per https://www.army.mil/ranks/. Click on rank indicated, read article from the Army on the rank and it's name. "Private Second Class" is not a rank in the United States Army at this time. 153.26.178.61 (talk) 17:47, 7 October 2019 (UTC)
- Not done: The source you provide doesn't specify E-1 or E-2, it just says Private (unless I'm missing something). The request immediately above this one provides specific sources naming the ranks as they are currently in the template. ‑‑ElHef (Meep?) 13:17, 8 October 2019 (UTC)
- Oh, I see what you're talking about now. The problem I have with this is that the rest of the ranks also follow this pattern, and we aren't saying "Specialist (E-4)" or "Sergeant (E-5)", etc. I'm inclined to follow the previous sources for now. ‑‑ElHef (Meep?) 13:20, 8 October 2019 (UTC)
