ArbCom 2023 Elections voter message

Hello! Voting in the 2023 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 11 December 2023. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

Asian Le Mans Series drivers' standings
editHello, I just made this edit on 2023–24 Asian Le Mans Series. I saw you're the one who added the drivers' standings to the page so I'm obliged to let you know this for the future — hopefully once and for all. Different drivers should go in separate rows, even if they race for the same team. This helps accessibility, the table looks cleaner and it's easier to edit in case a driver leaves, joins or switches teams. Please keep it in mind for the future, it makes our job as copy-editors easier. MSport1005 (talk) 19:44, 5 December 2023 (UTC)
- Hi there, thanks for bringing that to my attention, I wasn't aware of that before now. I've seen it displayed both ways in my history of editing here, so perhaps it would be beneficial for new and experienced editors alike to see somewhere that this is the definitive format for creating these tables. For instance, last year's Asian Le Mans article still groups the drivers in the table -- this is one such example. If you don't want to have this issue in the future, it may be pertinent to discuss this with the entirety of the project, or to commission a season template which covers this concern.
